The Doctor wiped aggressively at his eyes as Amy sauntered in. "Hi Doctor," she said breezily.
"Hello," he replied, desperately trying to keep his voice from wavering.
"Is something the matter?" she asked, not one to beat around the bush.
"No, no, nothing at all. My, ah, plant seems to have just... died, is all. All things must come to dust, yeah?"
"Right?" Amy dropped the conversation when she noticed that the Doctor's sleeve was damp.

A Rose in the Basement
This is the Doctor and Rose's first meeting from the Doctor's point of view.

"And what's that thing?"
The Doctor switched off his screwdriver and turned to face the younger version of the girl he loved.
"I'm here because you are in terrible danger and if something goes wrong then time will mess up and the whole universe might go bang. I climbed though the window because

Rose Comes First
"We're out of tea bags." Rose appeared in the doorway of the library.
The Doctor didn't look up from his book. He was sitting crossed legged on the sofa and clutching a mug of tea. "Yeah, sorry I used the last one, thought I'd get some more in the morning. I thought you'd gone to bed early anyway." He looked up at her, brow furrowing with concern; she was visibly drained and looked utterly miserable. She was wearing pink pyjamas and a hoodie that was far too big for her, one of his that he knew was her favourite so always wore to concerts when she refused to let him wear his suit. She'd wrapped her vibrant pink duvet around herself in a way

A sort of prompt based off of midnighttopha's Sentence Stories: "The first time Amy ever saw the Doctor cry was when the rose he kept in a vase on the table died."
Just a quick little vignette I wrote to go along with a pretty little phrase that doesn't belong to me.
